TESTIMONY CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY (TCLM) Your Spiritual Welfare Is Our Concern Mission: To live for God by pleasing Him at all time. To do His will here on earth. To preach His word in totality. Vision: To make heaven at last. E-mail address: ayanboyej2004@yahoo.co.uk Mobile: 08023256284; 08060949939 ayanboyej@yahoo.com testimonychristianlifeministry@yahoo.com Website: www.https://tclm.cw.center This is a ministry that shows men and women of all ages and races the way to heaven. Jesus said ’’ I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father except through me’’. ‘’The truth shall set you free and you shall be free indeed’’. ‘’He died that we may live’’, and the life we are now living is no more ours but His. We amplified these to all men that they may know that there is no salvation in any other than in the vicarious death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our Bible Study is a means of exposing us to this truth so that we may be able to know His mind for our life and that we may live a life that is acceptable and pleasing to Him alone in this world. The expository study of the word will equip us for His coming. It is soul enriching! Our Revival and Prayer Meeting will inspire us to go out and witness to others and open our eyes to their needs so that we might be able to minister effectively. Listening to life giving testimony will encourage us to share our life experience to others who are perplexed about their own experiences in life. It must be a testimony of the real things that the Lord did, that will lead others to the only Saviour and Heaven’s gate. Our Sunday Worship Service is a mean of refreshing our soul, spirit and building the body of Christ to maturity. There we fellowship with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, it’s a time of singing praises to the Lord of our soul and asking Him for more grace to follow to the end. The Church (Testimony Life Bible Church) is an arm of the Ministry where people of the same mind come to fellowship together to share wine and dine at the Lord’s Table with the Trinity so that they will not lose focus on the only sure Gate. This is an interdenominational fellowship that caters for soul and ensures their pilgrim journey to holy heaven in holiness. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is”. The Institute (Testimony Life Bible Training Centre) in a place where who – be Ministers of God receive their training,’’ to study to show themselves approve unto God, that they are workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth’’. This is also an interdenominational institute where sound teaching of the word is the utmost goal, and preparation of ministers for end-time harvest is our heart-beat. Our programme (My Hour of Divine Visitation) is a programme which God place in our heart to meet with His people to bring solution to their numerous insurmountable problems. Remember Peter was asked to cast the net on the right side of the ship. The same voice awaits you if you can make yourself available. Jesus is waiting for you. It is a monthly programme. Our yearly programme (Resurrection Retreat) comes up during the period of Easter. It is a period of spiritual rejuvenation where our dead bones rise again and our spiritual deadness is resurrected to fulfil its mandate of making people hear. This is the biggest programme where God visit us to make His will known to us for the year ahead. It is called (Crossing Over Period). It comes up on the 27th December to 1st January every year. It is tagged 121 hours with God for a new beginning. Our Home Meeting is another programme that promises the neighbourhoods good relationship, care, provision, attention and lots more. It comes up once in a week. This is a means where we bring the church closer to the people living around us through Godly fellowship and caring prayers. What we believe STATEMENT OF FAITH We are a non-denominational, spirit-filled ministry. Special Characteristics: Tenets of Faith These are the tenets of faith as we see them — non-negotiable elements of a Biblical worldview. God We believe that there is but one God, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, visible and invisible, revealed in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father We believe in God the Father, the Ancient of Days, who is not aloof from human history but who, through various covenants, has initiated relationship with mankind, and to whom we have now been reconciled through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the Cross. Because of Jesus Christ, we too can now call God "Father." The Lord Jesus Christ We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, His deity, His virgin birth, that He died, was buried and on the third day rose back to life, that He ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. We believe that He is the eternal Son of God, for whom and by whom all things were created. The Holy Spirit We believe that the Holy Spirit (as the third Person of the triune God) proceeded from the Father and the Son, and is of one substance, majesty and glory with the Father and the Son. The Holy Scriptures We believe in the divine inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, as contained in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, as the sole revelation of the mind and will of God, and we accept them in their original form as the divine Word of God. The Devil We believe that the Devil, through temptation and deception, initiated the downfall of man and now seeks to destroy the faith of every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and to hinder the further spread of the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. Justification by Faith We believe that it is impossible to attain salvation through self-effort, but that through simply believing in the atoning death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and in acting out that faith through receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, we receive the remission of all our sins, reconciliation with God and the gift of eternal life. We hold that the believer has an eternal salvation secured in Christ. Baptism in Water We believe in fulfilling the command of Jesus to baptize believers into the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and that this baptism is symbolic of our death, burial and resurrection with the Lord Jesus Christ in His redemptive work on the Cross. Sanctification We believe it is the glorious privilege of every believer in Christ to be made pure in heart and wholly sanctified by the operation of the Holy Spirit through the blood of Christ and the Word of God. A believer cannot be justified by works, but evidences that justification through works empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Church We believe in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, made up of all who have believed on the Lord Jesus and received the salvation of the Cross, and that this Church will come to the full expression of unity that can only be found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the prayer of Jesus Christ in John 17. The Lord’s Supper We believe, in accordance with the command of the Lord Jesus, that we should celebrate this ordinance in remembrance of the atoning work of Christ and as an act of fellowship together. The Rapture of saints We believe that in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For the lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. 1 Cor. 15: 52; 1 Thess. 4: 13-18. The Return of Christ We believe in the physical second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, returning as He ascended, with power and majesty, to judge the dead and the living. Those not found in the Book of Life will be consigned to everlasting separation from God, described in the Scriptures as the Second Death. Those found in the Book of Life will enter into the glorious presence of God. Special Characteristics: These are the special characteristics which flavor the lesson material and ministry approach of the Mind The Gate Testimony Ministry: The Centrality of the Gospel We believe that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ must be central to all church teaching and activity. The Gospel is a "whole Gospel for the whole Christian life." The Gifts of the Spirit We believe in the empowering of the Holy Spirit for service and the present day operation of the gifts of the Spirit, as described in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. The Ministry of Every Believer We believe that every believer, regardless of race, gender or educational status, is called by God to participate in His glorious purpose. We are all "full time" in the ministry, even if we have a secular vocation, and to this end, each believer has a unique mix of ministry gifts, as determined by the Holy Spirit. The Unity of the Body of Christ We believe in the indivisible unity of the Body of Christ, established solely upon the foundation of the Gospel of Christ. We believe that God is bringing His Body into a practical expression of unity, as described in John 17:20-23 and Ephesians 4:13.
